Tell Your Story

Are you, or have you been, a Gunflint Trail resident? Help us provide the most comprehensive look at Gunflint Trail history possible by adding your story to the Gunflint Trail Residents book, kept on display at the Chik-Wauk Museum and Nature Center.  Simply fill out and submit the Gunflint Trail Residents Form.

Did you grow up on the Trail? Did you work on the Trail? Did you own a Gunflint Trail business?  If your life has been deeply intertwined with the Gunflint Trail, we want to hear your story. Please consider participating in an oral history interview. The interview takes approximately 1-2 hours. Contact us at info@gunflinttrailhistoricalsociety.org to make arrangements.

At its heart, the Gunflint Trail Historical Society is about preserving and continuing the stories of those whose lives have been touched by Minnesota's Northwoods. By donating to the Gunflint Trail Historical Society in memory of a loved one, a tribute will be placed in the memorial book in the Museum's reading corner.
